A man who went to Billund Airport on Saturday to pick up a walking frame instead ended up being assaulted.
The incident happened outside the passenger terminal and was reported at around 18.30.
An unknown man apparently thought the victim was looking at him provocatively.
According to police, this led to an assault in which the man was slapped and shoved, and kicked twice in the body.
Police do not yet have a description of the assailant, but are now investigating whether there is CCTV footage from the area that could help identify him.
Police are also asking any witnesses to contact them on tel. 1-1-4.
