Maybe each school should rethink public education from the ground up, without unnecessary political panic and interference.
1. Parents must take responsibility and support the school. Make sure their children arrive at school every day well-fed and rested.
2. Any criticism of the school should be raised directly with the school, without involving other parents.
3. The school leadership should be visible and accessible, and known to everyone.
4. Teachers and pedagogues should be charismatic, have a sparkle in their eyes, and be the first in the classroom.
5. Lessons should be exciting and varied, without relying solely on online learning platforms.
6. Friday coffee, where parents can meet teachers, pedagogues and school leaders in an informal setting.
7. Unnecessary meetings should be done away with.
